Booking and attendance rules

Regular packages

Regular packages cover consecutive weekly classes in the selected group.

With at least 24 hours’ notice, one missed class for every four consecutive lessons may be moved to another available group. Make-up classes depend on availability and should be used within the agreed package period.

Any additional missed classes are counted as attended, even when advance notice is provided. Students who require more flexibility should choose a Flexi package.

Booking and payment

A place is confirmed only once payment has been received.

Joining an interest list does not constitute a confirmed booking and does not require payment. For groups that are still being formed, Artive will contact participants before confirming the schedule and requesting payment.

Packages are personal and cannot be transferred to another person. The starting date and chosen group are agreed before the package begins.

Flexible packages

Flexi 4 must be used within eight weeks, and Flexi 10 must be used within six months.

When a flexible booking is changed with at least 24 hours’ notice, the class returns to the package. The original package expiry date does not change.

Classes that remain unused after the package expires cannot normally be carried forward.

Trial and single classes

A trial or single class may be rescheduled once when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. Alternatively, the payment can remain as credit for another available class for up to 60 days or the payment can be refunded if cancelation is made within 24 hours before the booked class.

Late cancellations and missed classes

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the class are counted as attended and cannot normally be refunded or moved.

Genuine emergencies may be considered individually. Please contact Artive as soon as reasonably possible.

Refunds

Participant cancellations are normally eligible for rescheduling or studio credit according to the rules above, rather than a cash refund. However, cancellations for a trial class made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.

If Artive cancels a class, the affected lesson will be rescheduled, returned to the package or refunded. If the studio is closed for a planned break, consecutive packages will be extended accordingly.

Materials

Standard materials are included. Particularly large canvases, specialist materials or unusually material-intensive personal projects may involve an additional charge, which will always be discussed in advance.

Students may also bring their own materials if they prefer.

Late arrival

Please arrive on time whenever possible. Students arriving late are still welcome to join, but the class will finish at the scheduled time.

Photography

Participation in a class does not automatically give Artive permission to publish photographs or videos in which a participant is recognisable. Separate consent will always be requested, particularly for children and teenagers.

Acceptance of the rules

By completing a booking or purchasing a package, the participant confirms that they have read and accepted these studio policies and the Privacy Policy.

These rules do not limit any mandatory rights provided by applicable consumer law.

Language and class format

Classes are mainly conducted in English. Visual demonstrations and individual guidance make them accessible to different language levels, and brief clarification in Italian may be provided when possible.

Classes are mixed-level, and students may work on different individual projects. The teacher may adapt activities according to each participant’s experience, interests and safety needs.
